Just realized that my images folder in the repository will exceed the limit (1 GB) at some point. Since I plan to add lots of images (diagrams or artistic compositions etc.) to my posts, I have to find a more scalable solution. Here I’m trying out Google Photos to see if I can embed an image in a my public Google Photo album.
Trying out creating a post with a responsive image that adjusts to different screen sizes. Also trying out embedding a code block. Below is the CSS I used for making the image below responsive.
Whoa, I can post from my VS Code. I’m truly blogging like a hacker haha. Also testing out embedding a YouTube video inside a post. This is the video that inspired me to set up this blog and commit to write everyday (hopefully).
Thanks to Barry Clark’s instructions in Smashing Magazine I’ve set up my Jekyll Blog on Github in a few minutes. 🙏
